Forward Deployed Developer

Full-time

You'll sit at the intersection of product, customers, and code, regularly pairing with real pet care businesses as they adopt the platform to turn what you learn into live product improvements. Most days you'll be using Cursor to ship code in a Gatsby/React ecosystem, so you should be comfortable with writing tests, interacting with CI, diagnosing issues in your code, and committing to a shared repo.

This role is for someone who wants to own their work end to end, including design, development, and product research. You'll work closely with founders and real customers, so a strong ability to self-manage and adapt to changes is necessary.

Experience we look for

  • Demonstrated ability to design, code, and defend your product decisions in a team setting
  • Comfortable with the serverless/SSG model of web development
  • AI-assisted coding is your default workflow
  • Clear written communication with non-technical customers and teammates

You'll be the calm, capable voice pet businesses hear when they need help, from onboarding new customers to walking customers through new features, responding to support inquiries over messages, and escalating product bugs with enough detail for developers to act.

Success looks like fast, empathetic replies, tidy documentation of recurring issues, and a bias toward teaching customers how to get more out of Doggos without creating dependency.

Experience we look for

  • Prior customer support or success experience (SaaS preferred)
  • Excellent written English and a patient, professional tone
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly and explaining it simply
  • Reliable part-time availability overlapping US business hours
