Kellog-Zaher Dog Park (also known as K-Z Complex) are a series of 3 very large dog runs with natural hills and plenty of room to run. Like many dog parks, although the park has 3 runs, it is common to only see two open at a time. The runs are separated into large and small dog runs, all being generously sized and covered in grass.

Kellog-Zaher Dog Park is arguably the largest dog park on the west side of Las Vegas. There are covered benches and water taps inside of the dog park, and the runs are well-fenced and (typically) clean.

Dog Park Etiquette

  1. Dogs that are aggressive are not allowed in the park.
  2. Do not bring food or dog treats into the dog park. Many owners do not feed treats, and some dogs are allergic.
  3. Do not leave water bowls at the dog park. These are a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria.
  4. Please do not bring any toys that your dog may be overly attached to. These items may provoke possessive-aggressive behavior and can be destroyed through rough play.
  5. You must be in control of your dog at all times. Basic obedience training is a must for safely enjoying any dog park!
  6. Owners must clean up after their dogs. There are plastic bags and trash receptacles provided.
Please Note

Dogs must be on a leash and under owner's control in all county parks.

Owners whose dogs are off-leash will be given a warning, and will be cited for the second infraction. Owners whose dogs are off-leash and are deemed a threat by Park Police will be cited immediately with no warning. The citation carries a fine of $250.
